Coffee Tricks That Will Dramatically Improve Your Skin

Coffee is more than just a kitchen staple these days. It’s a great go-to drink if you’re feeling lazy or you’re having a bad day. It can even take you through a very busy schedule at work or if you need to pull an all-nighter for a critical project. No matter what your reason is for enjoying a good cup of coffee, you know you just can’t get enough of it.
Scrub away ugly dead skin cells with coffee grounds
Instead of loading up your beauty arsenal with scrubs made of synthetic and harsh ingredients, you can choose coffee grounds. They are more friendly to your skin, environment and even your wallet.
Coffee scrubs can help remove dryness, flakiness and patchy skin brought about by cold weather  or your natural skin type. On top of sloughing off dead skin cells, it can also boost circulation which means you also get a fresh and healthy glow after.
The Trick:
Get a clean jar or container and pour a cup of coffee grounds. Add 5 to 6 tablespoons of coconut oil and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Mix all the ingredients until you get a nice and smooth texture.
Massage the paste on your damp skin using light circular motions. Concentrate on your problem areas, like your elbows and knees. If you have an available dry brush, you can use it to prep your skin before wetting it with water and applying the scrub.
You can also use it as a face scrub. However, as your face is delicate, keep in mind to be extra gentle when scrubbing. Too much pressure can cause irritation and abrasion on your skin.
Erase your puffy dark under eye circles with your coffee
You’ve probably used coffee in the morning a lot of times to wake your senses up. But, did you know you that you can also use coffee to get rid of your stubborn under eye circles?
Caffeine is a known stimulant, which means it can constrict your blood vessels to reduce any puffiness and swelling. This anti-inflammatory property can also help you in getting rid of acne.
The Trick:
Chill a good amount of coffee ground mixed with vitamin E oil. You can also use other bases, such as almond oil, coconut oil or shea butter. Once cool apply the paste on the area under your eyes. Pat it on lightly and make sure not to tug the skin or get any powder in your eyes.
Wait for 30 minutes before rinsing the undereye coffee paste. Follow up with a good eye cream to get the best effects.
